We provide sedation dentistry to ensure you have a comfortable, relaxed dental experience.
Oral Sedation
Oral conscious sedation is ideal for patients with moderate dental anxiety. You will be prescribed a
pill, which you take approximately an hour before your appointment. You’ll feel very relaxed, and
you may not even remember much of the procedure. You will need to be accompanied by a friend
or family member to your appointment, as oral conscious sedation can take several hours to wear
off.

IV Sedation
Intravenous (IV) sedation consists of a sedative administered directly into your bloodstream. IV
sedation is useful for shorter procedures and/or for patients with an extreme fear of the dentist.
Administering the medication directly into your bloodstream means immediate results. You may
feel as if you were asleep during your procedure, and you will need a designated driver, as
grogginess is normal following IV sedation.
